Obituary

Leslie J. Netter, Jr. died on January 23, 2021 at the age of 87.

Leslie is survived by his wife of 68 years, Catherine and children Leslie III, Nancy and Sandra

Niblic, Donald, Greg and their spouses. Les was the loving Pop Pop of 5 grandchildren. First grandchild Michael Netter predeceased his PopPop and is survived by his fiancé Michele Kneble. Grandchildren are Laura Kominos, Ashley Menna (spouse Sebastian), Danielle Netter and Alexis Netter. Great grandchildren are Jack Kominos and Juliette Menna. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Netter, his wife Gina and their family. Les is fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters–in-laws.

Born and raised in Gloucester City, NJ, Les was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. After his service, he had a long career as a Mechanical/Instrumentation Designer and lived with his family in Bellmawr, NJ. Les was a talented repairman and completed construction of a family room on the house in Bellmawr. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins. Les was also a very active member of the Bellmawr Tigers Organization and was a football coach for each son as they grew older in the late 60’s & 70’s. He also made time to Coach baseball in Bellmawr Little League in the spring.

Due to the virus, services for Les and his burial at Eglington Cemetery will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
