E-bituary

Carl J. (Jerry) Bramble, age 91 of Mantua, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Manor Care Health Services in West Deptford.

During his early years, Jerry started his career as a yardman and retired as a Train Conductor, in 1995, after 44 years, of working for the Pennsylvania Railroad, Conrail, and Amtrak. At home, he loved music and a variety of legendary singers.  He cheered on the Phillies and passed time in his crossword puzzle books and his garden. Jerry will be remembered as a bit cantankerous with a mischievous sense of humor and unmatched love for dogs. Jerry named all of his cars and finished every day with Johnny and the Tonight Show.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 64 years, Norma (nee Rausher) Bramble. He is the father of Chad & his wife Kimberly, Pamela Keely, Eileen Bramble, Maureen & her husband Thomas Crossman, Kathleen Iorio, the late Brenda Bramble, and the late Carl J. Bramble, Jr. Mr. Bramble is the proud grandfather of his grandson, the late Thomas Keely, his surviving grandchildren: Sean Fuhrman, Chad Bramble, Austin Bramble, and Mikaeli Bramble. He was #9 of 10 siblings and the last to survive.  Jerry saved everyone one of his siblings and his parents’ memorial cards from their funerals, along with his grandson Tom-Tom’s card, son Jerry Jr.’s, and his great nephew’s card.
