William J. Madison, Jr., age 70, of Lindenwold, passed away at his home on Saturday December 2, 2023.
Bill spent his earlier years in Gloucester and more recently took up residence with his daughter at her home in Lindenwold. He worked as an artist and self employed painter for many years and often donated his time, talent and craft to many, including his Church. Bill loved spending time on the water. He was an avid fisherman and filled many days on his boat. Mr. Madison held his faith dear and had been an active congragant of Hope Church in Voorhees where he was a member of the Church’s mens group. Above all, Bill was a loyal and lifelong dedicated fan of the Eagles!
Bill leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters; Michele & Denise (Michael) Madison. He was the proud grandfather of Haley, Gabriella and great grandfather of Neveah. Bill is also survived and will be sadly missed by his faithful companion Buddy, his best friend George and his brother Gary.
Relatives, friends and neighbors are invited to gather with the Madison family. We’ll come together to remember Bill, celebrate a lifelong commitment to the Eagles and pay tribute to a father, brother, grandfather and friend, on Monday morning, between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn where a remembrance ceremony will begin at 12:00 PM. In memory of Bill, EVERYONE is strongly encouraged to wear their eagles jerseys, t-shirts, hats and colors.
