Trueman P. Helms

Beloved Trueman P Helms of Collingswood NJ passed away on August 14, 2015 after a long brave battle at Alaris Rehab Center in Cherry Hill NJ. Trueman was the son of Beatrice James Helms and Frank Sparks Helms both predeceasing him. He was a graduate of Audubon High School and Lehigh University where he majored in engineering. He served in the military and later worked on one of the ships whose mission it was to retrieve one of the NASA space shuttle cones from the ocean. Sadly, his sister June and brother Frank predeceased him. He is survived by his loving sister Dorothy Helms Gruber, his brother in law Charles Leonard Gruber and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and many longtime friends. He will long be remembered by all of his close friends at the Oaklyn Manor in Oaklyn NJ. Trueman will be cremated through the Creran Funeral Home of Oaklyn NJ.
