Sarah "Sally" Ludwick

Sarah “Sally” Ludwick (nee Straub) of Gloucester City, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022, at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Robert Ludwick; her loving children Robert F. Ludwick Jr. (Rayna) and Susan Cipriani (Christopher). She is predeceased by her brother Robert Straub (Lillian). Sally is also survived by her grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Gammie”, Jordan, Tatum, Taylor, Jamie, Jesse, Jenna, and Sophia. She also leaves behind 4 great-grandchildren, with one on the way, and special friends Joseph and Maryann Knecht.
Sally was a devoted Day Care provider for over 46 years, caring for many children in Gloucester City so their mothers could go to work. She was also a lunch aide at Broadway School for 20 years. Sally was a devoted wife, mother, gammie, and friend, her family can go on for days telling stories about the things she has said or done. She loved animals, but most of all she loved her family and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Sally’s viewing on Thursday, October 13, 2022, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes, 700 Powell Street, Gloucester City, 08030. Her funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center, 125 County House Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012.
