Sarah C. Morey (nee Hanley), age 93 of Audubon, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Mrs. Morey was born in Corsica, PA and had been a longtime resident of Hazen, PA. She had worked at the Brockway Glass Co in Brockway, PA for 20 years and prior to that had a service station grocery with her husband.
Mrs. Morey, during her lifetime enjoyed a wide variety of interests such as baking, cooking, fishing, gardening, hunting, making afghans and sewing. She especially enjoyed her family and attending Hazen United Methodist Church. Sarah used her earnings at Brockway Glass to send all her children to education beyond high school.
Mrs. Morey is the wife of the late George A. Morey, Sr. and is the mother of George A. Morey, Jr. and his wife Nellie Grace, Shelley Gonzales and her husband Joseph and the late Barbara R. Hartle. Sarah is the proud Grandmother of 7 and Great-Grandmother of 8.
Funeral services will be held in Brookville, PA followed by interment at Temple Cemetery in Hazen, PA to be with her husband.
