Salvatore Ferraro

On May 22, 2019, of Oaklyn, NJ, age 76. He is the beloved husband of Gloria J. (nee Pyle), loving father of Rhonda Whatley (Randy), Kara Jalkowski (Jim), LaDawn Hicks and dear brother of Michael Ferraro and the late Linda Garland. He is also survived by his dear grandchildren Rachel, Sean, Sammi, Kennidy, Dari and Rylee. Sal was born and raised in Newark, NJ and was passionate about sports as a young man. He was an Army Veteran and while stationed in San Francisco he was a member of the baseball team. Sal worked in retail his whole life and enjoyed going to the casinos but most of all he was a wonderful husband, father, friend and family man, who enjoyed life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Sal's graveside funeral service and interment on Friday, 11:00 AM, at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers his family has suggested memorial donations be made to Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
