After a brief but difficult illness, on November 27, 2025, Morris Tomasetto (nickname Mario), age 83, passed quietly, surrounded by loved ones.
He was the beloved husband of the late Joann (Carbone), father of the late Morris Jr. and Anthony. He is predeceased by his late brother, Ernie, his parents, Josephine (Benne), and Rocco Tomasetto.
Morris is survived by and will be forever loved and missed by his son, Mario (Kodah), his precious granddaughter Alyssa (Rocco), brother Ron, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is also survived by his heartbroken companion and best friend, Christine Brennan, and her family. Morris is also survived by his faithful fur baby, Miss Kitty II, and all his critters that he fed every night.
Morris was a graphic arts printer for over 60 years. The last 25, of which he owned his own business. He retired last year but was still doing work out of his home. He was also an amazing woodworker. He created beautiful furniture for his own home and for his family. An extremely talented man who had the energy of a 20-year-old until recently.
Relatives, friends, and neighbors are invited to gather with the Tomasetto family. We’ll come together in tribute and thanksgiving to take comfort in each other on Friday morning between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes, 700 Powell St., Gloucester City, where a remembrance ceremony will be shared at 1:00 pm, during which those who wish to speak and share memories are welcome.
