Michael R “Woody” Wood
Age 81, of Audubon Park, New Jersey, passed away on June 6, 2025.
Michael was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (née Naleski); his son, Michael; his stepdaughters, LuAnn (the late Tim) Mallison, Lynn (Dennis) Gilmore, and Lori (Dwight) Massey; his stepsons, Jack Dunn and K.C. Dunn; his brother, Steve (Stephanie) Wood; and his sister, Susan (Gary) Hannold. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Shea, Shawn, Tierney, Killian, Seamus, Cormac, Xavier, Jada, Cameron, Madeline, Savannah, and Makenzie, and was predeceased by his grandson, Shane.
Michael was born on December 23, 1943, and was a proud graduate of Youngsville High School in 1962. He continued his education at Williamsport Community College, where he graduated in 1966. For 29 years, Michael worked at Color Graphics Inc. as a pressman, supervisor, and in purchasing—impressively managing it all despite being colorblind, a fact the company somehow never caught on to. His eye for detail may have lacked color, but never character.
Michael was a passionate fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and loved to spend time with his family, especially watching Eagles games. He was an active member of Christ Episcopal Church in Magnolia, where he volunteered his time and resources for many years.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, visitation 9:00–11:00 a.m. with services immediately following, to be held at Christ Episcopal Church of Magnolia, 413 West Evesham Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ Episcopal Church or the charity of your choice.
He will be missed by many, but many may not miss his jokes!
Go Birds!!!!
