Michael Joseph Smith

On March 31, 2015, of Philadelphia, PA, age 57. He is the beloved son of Eva M. and the late Joseph C. Smith, loving brother of David Smith (Julie), Cheryl Toscan (Tom) and Barbara Smith and dear uncle of Leeanne, Jessica, Emily and Eric. He is also survived by many dear friends and colleagues. Mr. Smith taught Spanish and History in the Philadelphia School System for more than 30 year, his last school being the Parkway School. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 400 WHITE HORSE PIKE, OAKLYN, NJ. Mr. Smith's Funeral Service will be held 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the request of his family. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society,1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
