Marilynn S. Malony Age 82, Formerly of Audubon
On May 28, 2015, beloved wife of the late George "Ed" Malony. Devoted mother of Steve (Kathy), Bart (the late Teri), Rob (Kris), and Linda (Alec) McIver. Loving grandmom of Robert, Lyndsay, Katie (Zach), Sean, Beth, Allyssa, Kyle, and Jenna. Also survived by brother Bob Schmidt of Lousiana.
Marilynn always said she was born to be a nurse and graduated from Hahnemann Hospital as a R.N. and worked at various local hospitals for many years. Later she worked as a school nurse in Camden and eventually became the Coordinator of Health Services for the Camden City Board of Education. After retiring she taught school nursing classes at Rowan University until fully retiring to spend more time with her husband and family. All through her life she was dedicated to her family, hosting Sunday dinners and holiday gatherings. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Audubon and enjoyed attending the weekly bible study group. For the past 8 months she lived at Collingswood Manor where she knew most of the residents and staff by first name.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to VNA Hospice of Philadelphia, Falls Center, 3300 Henry Avenue, Suite 500, Philadelphia, PA 19129-1121 or Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Audubon.
A celebration of A LIFE WELL LIVED will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Audubon on Saturday, June 27 at 10 am to meet the family and 11 am for a memorial service.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Henry Funeral Home, Audubon, NJ
