Margaret "Peggy" C. Pierson

Margaret C. Pierson "Peggy" (nee Collins), age 74, of Oaklyn, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. Beloved wife of 52 years to Thomas Pierson, she is survived by her loving children, Tommy (Helene), Nancy Jean, and Jimmy; devoted Nana of Andrew (Rebecca), Alyssa (Chris),and Josh (Abbie); Nana Peggy to Jaxson;She was the leader of "The Four Sisters" along with Judith Hoffman (John) of Plano, TX, Nancy Morris (Jerry) of Sandy Hook, VA, and Barbara Minutola (Mike) of Mt. Ephraim. She was also a very beloved Aunt to: Kevin (Tracy), Lisa (Dave), Marjorie (Robert), Suzanne (Mike), Michael (Kelli), Christopher (Bern), and Victoria (Joe); as well as her great nieces and nephews: Kiara, Payton, Hope, Faith, Evan, Quin, Jane, Dominic and Francesca.

Peggy was a dedicated employee and touched many lives during her lengthy careers at RCA, West Jersey Hospital/Camden, and The National Adoption Center in Philadelphia, before retiring in 2015 from The Heart of Camden. Peggy was a Past Matron of The Eastern Star #253 of Oaklyn, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Peggy's viewing on Sunday, October 23rd from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 400 WHITE HORSE PIKE, OAKLYN, NJ and on Monday, October 24th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Vincent Pallotti Church, 901 Hopkins Rd., Haddon Twp, NJ with funeral mass immediately following. Interment will be private.

Peggy's family is extremely thankful for the kindness and care of the Doctors and Nurses of the MD Anderson Cancer Center, as well as Cooper University Hospital and Vitas Hospice Unit, Kennedy/Stratford.
