On November 2, 2006 of Audubon, NJ age 80 yrs. beloved husband of
Rose Marie, devoted father of Beth (Dale) Bishop of Audubon, Leonard (Susan)
Johnson of MA, Rose (Mike) Kulak of Audubon, Joseph (Lisa) Levine
of Upper Darby, PA; loving grandfather of Brian (Allison) Kulak, Keith Kulak,
Randy (Danielle) Bishop, Becky (Rob) Jentsch; great grandfather of Kylie,
Taylor, Christopher; brother of Joseph (Janet) Johnson of Upper Saddle River;
also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friend Jeffrey Fischer.
Mr. Johnson was the former owner of Leigh Florist in Audubon for 30 years. He then worked for McFaddens Metro Cab in Audubon as a dispatcher and driver. Leonard was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran. He volunteered his time on the U.S.S. New Jersey. He was a member of S.J. Organic Gardners, the Audubon Rotary Club and he was an avid
reader of Native American culture. Leonard had a love and concern of the environment;
Jacques Costeau was his hero and teacher.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday morning from 9:30-
10:30AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 4th Ave. & Kings Hwy., Haddon Heights, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM. Followed by Military Honors at Harleigh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to:
