Joseph M Low, Sr

Joseph M. Low, Sr., age 92 of Oaklyn, passed away at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice on Thursday, November 30, 2023.

Mr. Low was born in Barrington, NJ, and had been a longtime Oaklyn neighbor. His home had contributed to the manpower of our great nation, upholding the ideals of our American freedoms in the U.S. Navy. Joe was your dad and hero who championed his boys during their youth, participating in Little League and Cub Scouts, among many other activities in their life and community. Mr. Low retired from Aegis in Moorestown and proudly volunteered on the Battleship New Jersey where he stayed active and committed for over 15 years. Mr. Low will fondly be remembered as kind and gentle with a unique and endearing gift of storytelling. He was a loving husband and dedicated family man who just beamed about his grandchildren.

Mr. Low is he widower of his late wife, Doris (nee Miller), and is survived by his boys, Joseph M. & his wife Marianne Low, Jr. and Scott D. Low (Jean Delaney). Joe is the proud grandfather of Joanna, Michelle (Gary Malloy), Alex, Scott, Jr. & his wife Julie Lynn, and great-grandfather of Joey Nicodemus.

Relatives, friends, and neighbors are invited to gather with the Low family on Tuesday morning between 9:00 am and 11:00 am at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn where a remembrance ceremony will begin at 11:00 am. Mausoleum entombment and the witness of love’s reunion will immediately follow at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill
