Joseph D. Ashton

On November 6, 2018, of Washington Twp., formerly of Gloucester City, NJ, age 75. He was the beloved husband of the late Alice M. (nee Schaub), dear brother of Anthony Ashton, Sr., Katherine Brown (Richard) and the late John Birney. He is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews. Mr. Ashton was an Army Veteran and past Supreme Commander of the Shepherds Lodge of Bethlehem in Bethlehem, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 426 Monmouth St. in Gloucester City. Interment will follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
