John G., Sr.
On December 9, 2018, of Oaklyn, NJ. Age 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Ethel (nee Turner) and Ruth (Nee Marcussen). Loving father of John G. Hodson, Jr. (Patricia). Cherished grandfather of Brittany and John G., III and is also survived by his loving companion Shirley Majuri. John proudly served his country with the Army National Guard in the early 1950's. He was the owner of John G. Hodson Automotive Co. for several years before co-founding, along with his wife Ruth, the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America where he served as the CEO for over 30 years. John enjoyed helping people. He was an avid Eagles fan, but most importantly, John loved and cherished everything having to do with his grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Friday morning from 10:30am to 12:00 noon at the CRERAN FUNERAL HOME 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn. A catholic prayer service will be held 12:00 noon at the Funeral Home. There will be no evening viewing. Interment to follow in Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.
