John T. Hartley

John T. Hartley, age 74, born on July 12, 2934 passed away suddenly at home on Friday March 13, 2009.

John was the beloved husband and best friend of Lynn A. (nee Montgomery) for 25 years. He was an independent insurance agent in Audubon for over 35 years and was involved in Audubon Little League (A.L.L.) for over 20 years. Mr. Hartley is enshrined in the A.L.L. Hall of Fame and had served as Deacon , Chalice Bearer and Sr. Warden for St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Haddon Heights. John was a Past Governor for the State of NJ High-Twelve International and had been a member of the Parkside-Audubon F&AM, Lodge 218. He was a volunteer coach for the Barrington Little League and had served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. John was a great man who was kind and generous with a great sense of humor who helped many people in his life. He will be sadly missed.

John is survived by his children; John E. (Patti), David P. (Christine), Jill E. Howarth, Beth (Jim) Aubin, Debbie (Marty) Widmeier and Charles Dolceamore. He is the brother of Joseph, Robert and Dolly Hartley and Kathy (Frank) Hassett and the late Adelaide.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the Hartley family to remember and pay tribute to John on Friday between 6 and 9 pm with Masonic services at 8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:30 am at the funeral home, Rev. Dr.. Henry Jansma Celebrating. Interment and graveside tribute will follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
