John J. (Jack) Alemi

On November 19, 2015 of Haddon Twp., NJ, age 86. He is the beloved husband of Patricia C. (nee Dennis), loving father of Stephen (Phyllis), John L. (Rose), Anthony (Jean), Nancy Doyle (Michael), David (Suzanne), Mark (Jill), and dear brother of Joseph Alemi and Phyllis Jaroz. Jack is also survived by 15 dear grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and was predeceased by his parents Lawrence & Isabella Alemi. Jack and his wife Pat resided in Audubon for 57 years before moving to Haddon Twp. He had been employed as a Tool Maker with the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard and was also a local Insurance Agent for John Hancock Insurance Co. Jack was an avid supporter of Audubon High School Sports, he had been a Boy Scout Leader and he enjoyed singing with Holy Maternity and Collingswood Community Choirs. Most of all Jack loved his seashore vacations in Strathmere, fishing, and he enjoyed working as a bartender at Twisty's. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 400 WHITE HORSE PIKE, OAKLYN, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 10:00 AM, at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, St. Aloysius Church, 37 W. Haddon Ave. in Oaklyn. Interment will follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ. In lieu of flowers Jack's family would appreciate memorial donations be made to Heart of Camden, 1840 S. Broadway, Camden, NJ 08104 or Camden County Habitat for Humanity, 6955 Central Hwy., Pennsauken, NJ 08109.
