Joanne "Jody" Schlosser

Passed away on April 23, 2016, surrounded by her family after battling lung cancer. Age 58 yrs. She was a resident of Westville and formerly of Gloucester City, NJ. Jody was the beloved wife and partner for 30 years of John R. Schlosser Sr., loving mother of Nicole, Johnny (Lauren) and Paige and dear daughter of the late Norman and Josephine Graves. Jody is also the beloved sister of Lenny Eller (Wendy), Norman (Rocky), Steven (Joyce), Gary, Bobby (Julie) and Terry (John). Many knew Jody as the "waitress" at the Brooklawn Diner where she worked for over 30 years. She also was an employee of the Colonial Diner. Jody was known for always taking care of her family, her enthusiastic attitude, always seeing the positive through the negative and putting others before herself. She always had a smile on her face and dreamed of going to Las Vegas with her husband. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. Jody's funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM. Interment will be private at the request of the family.
