Joan M. Fithian

Joan M. Fithian (nee Leisling), age 85 of Gloucester, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, surrounded by the love and company of her family.

Joan was born in Mt. Ephraim and had been a longtime neighbor. She was not afraid of anything. Joan possessed a wanderlust and loved the excitement of traveling and camping. She enjoyed racing, was quick to jump on the back of that motorcycle, and always cheered her son Ernie on, racing around the track. She was a doting and dedicated mom and homemaker who had a special bond with her son and caretaker, Ernie. At home, she loved her little games and electronics.

Joan is the widow of her late husband, David A Fithian, and leaves to cherish her memory her children, Ernie Fithian and Stefanie Nilsen. She is also survived and will be sadly missed by her sister, Pat Pisco.

The time-honored tradition of reuniting those we love with nature will be held privately.
