On April 26, 2007 age 85 yrs. Beloved husband for 62 years of the late Suzanne A. Scott. Beloved father of Diane L. Coyle of Tabernacle, Suzanne L. McKenna of Westmont and Guy F. Scott, III of Somerset. Beloved grandfather of Edward M. Coyle, Suzanne A. Delfino and Debra L. McFadden. Beloved great grandfather of Edward Ryan J. Coyle and Alex W. Delfino.
Mr. Scott was born and raised in Audubon and lived in Westmont for 44 years. He served in the United States Coast Guard as a Radioman 1st Class during WWII for which he received a Pacific Theatre Medal. During his service, Mr. Scott survived the sinking of his ship in a typhoon off the Island of Iwo Jima. In 1957 he established Guy Scott Optician in Oaklyn, NJ which he owned and ran for 38 years. The business celebrated its 50th Anniversary this year.
Mr. Scott will be sadly missed by his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday morning from 9-11am at the Henry
Funeral Home, 152 W. Atlantic Ave., Audubon followed by services at 11am. Interment Harleigh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive,Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
