Francis "Mickey" C. Forker

February 20, 1938 — September 19, 2017

On September 19, 2017, of Gloucester City, NJ, age 79. He was the beloved husband of the late Josephine "Pat" Forker, loving father of Karen ( DuWayne) Carter, Frances (Roy) Gentry, Charles (Bobbi) Forker, Gary (Margaret) Forker, Richard (Louise) Forker, and Ronald Forker, dear step-father of Thomas Girgenti (Barbara), late Theresa (James) Thompson and William (Jean) Girgenti. He is the dear brother of June Myers, Carl Forker, Lillian Dever Walsh, Betty Favieri and the late Mary Fransel, Janet Davis and John Forker. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mickey was an avid Phillies Fan. He was a member of United Food & Commercial Worker's Local 1360 and had worked as a meat cutter for Murphy's Market in Medford. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. Mickey's Funeral Service will be held 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the request of his family.
