Florence L. Watts

Florence L. (nee Gurk) Watts of Collingswood, NJ, formerly of Audubon, NJ, died peacefully surrounded by family on July 22, 2015 at the age of 95 years. She was born in Philadelphia on November 27, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Laura (nee Anderson) Gurk and the late Ernest Gurk. Beloved wife for 56 years of the late George E. Watts. Devoted mother of Lauri (Lee) MacMinn and George (Mary) Watts. Loving grandmother of Elizabeth (Matthew) Hoeske, Brian (Jocelyn) MacMinn, Gregory (Sofia) Watts-Cruz, Brett (Erin) MacMinn, Blake (Cindy) MacMinn and Blair MacMinn. Great grandmother of Noah, Jalen, Dacey, Colton, Aleah, Liliana, Kyle, Katie, Sabrina, Abbey, Marney, Kiley, Matias and Andres. Dear sister of the late Reba Quinn and the late Ernest Gurk.

Grew up in Philadelphia, moved to Audubon, New Jersey in 1953, where she raised her family. She was active in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Girl's softball, Audubon Women's Club, and an active member of the Audubon United Methodist Church for 50 years. Her greatest joys were her husband George, her family and the many friends she made throughout her life.

Viewing Monday, July 27 from 9:30 AM - 11 AM in the Henry Funeral Home, 152 W. Atlantic Ave., Audubon, NJ 08106. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home. Interment is private.
