Florence M. Heebner (nee Talbot), age 96 of Elysburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Mt. Carmel Senior Living Community in Mt. Carmel, PA.

Florence was born in Margate, NJ, and graduated from Audubon High School in 1947. She was a longtime Oaklyn NJ resident before moving to Blackwood NJ. Florence worked 14 years as a Unit Secretary at West Jersey Hospital in Camden. After retiring she worked part time for Foley Chiropractic for 21 years. She also enjoyed selling Avon for 17 years and proudly made President’s Club every year!

Florence loved cooking, knitting, making candy and spending time with her cats.

Florence is the widow of her late husband, Richard C. Heebner. She is survived by her children: Nancy Allen, Janet & her husband Edward Rakoskie, and Rick & his wife Noreen Heebner.

Florence is the proud grandmother of Gregory(Nicolle), DeAnna(David) and Scott(Dana) and the great-grandmother of Danielle, Bobby, Drew, Michael, Kevin, Briggs, Collins, and Rhys. Florence is also survived by nieces and many other family members.

Florence will be sadly missed by her dear friend Tina Polito and the staff at Mt Carmel Senior Living Community who took such good care of her for 7 years.

Florence was predeceased by her parents Martha & Ernest Talbot, brother, Ernest J. Talbot, and son-in-law Jim Allen.

Relatives, friends, and neighbors are invited to gather with the family on Saturday morning, June 21st, between 10:30 am and 11:30 am, followed by a Celebration in Faith Service at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes, 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn.

Interment will be held at later date at the convenience of the family.
