Barbara Summerell

On April 21, 2018, Barbara (nee Hughes) of Franklinton, NC, formerly of Oaklyn, NJ, passed away at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Summerell, and leaves behind her daughter, Julie Teat and son-in-law Richard. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren Olivia (Livvie) and Jonas. Barbara was very special in the lives of so many others, including the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Oaklyn and the Reunion Committee of the Collingswood High School Class of 1948. A Memorial Service and celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018,from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the Creran Funeral Home, 400 White Horse Pike Oaklyn, NJ 08107. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 23rd, 10:00 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 37 W. Haddon Ave. in Oaklyn. Interment will follow at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ. In lieu of flowers her family would appreciate memorial donations be made to your local food bank.
